Ruby Red Desk

When I discovered this desk on Craigslist I knew I wanted a wealthy, super vibrant colour to update it. 

At 1st I believed Kelly Green, but I couldn't locate the appropriate shade, every thing was to Christmas-y. 

So if you know off a fantastic green I'd enjoy to hear it!

So I browsed my paint deck obsessively and finally decided on oil-primarily based, higher gloss, Heartthrob by Sherwin Williams. 

Is not the name of the color dead on?

It makes my heart go ba-dum, ba-dum, ba-dum.

Or whatever noise your heart tends to make. :)

Smooth, glossy, vibrant and ruby red.

Farmhouse Desk and Chair

Have I ever told you about my content place?

It is usually the location I think about before I fall asleep.

It's a cottage with huge windows, lots of fresh flowers, homemade French bread each morning for breakfast and a brand new white fitted T-shirt to put on every day.

(It doesn't take a lot to make me satisfied :)) 

I would place this desk in my pleased spot.  

The desk is painted in Jargon Jade by Sherwin Williams and the chair is Ballet White by Behr.

Each pieces are heavily distressed and chippy, aged with Minwax Golden Oak stain and sealed with Annie Sloan clear wax.
