Just before and Right after-Client's Master Bedroom

Hello friends, it is time to share one more ahead of and after with you. I lately had the chance to support a couple turn their plain master bedroom into a single that was warm and not so bare, now I should say it wasn’t as simple as I believed. My customers who usually trust me to do a great job I learned was extremely worried which had me like what! "How can you not trust me after I’ve done pretty a lot your whole house"? Effectively the trust word was rapidly thrown out the window when my clientele explained their take on their bedroom. My clients assured me of their trust, they stated it wasn’t a matter of trust simply because they had comprehensive  self-assurance in me (woo I dodge a bullet there) but they wanted to know that sleeping in their bedroom was going to be anything they can each reside with. I had to don't forget this is the location you initial see when you wake up in the morning and the last place you see at evening so this had to be something they can reside with on a typical basis so needless to say I truly understood their concerns. You see my clients knew that I like to push the envelope at instances they have been certain they didn’t want the envelope push that far in their bedroom so I had to assure them I understood their issues and I would make sure this room would be almost everything they asked for. The guidelines

Cant paint all the walls 

Warm and cozy 

One thing could reside with for a long time

Small budget 

Finish prior to Thanksgiving 

Never touch the gorgeous tray ceiling 

So did I do it?

As you can see the area was pretty bland, bare and no real feature!

I couldn't touch the beautiful tray ceiling! What a bummer...

Hey, what you feel one particular wall done in wallpaper?

The client's loved the wallpaper choice. This wallpaper did everything the clients wanted it gave the area character with no being overbearing and most of all it provides it the warmth the clients want.

What will I do with this bland wall? I could not paint it that was component of the rules.

What do you think? Did I warm it up despite no paint?

The consumers enjoy this element of the area. The husband stated this is his favorite portion.

I hate pointing out the unfavorable but I wish I could have put the window panels ceiling to floor. I attempted but could not discover lengthy adequate panels in time to finish but it worked out due to the fact I was able to use the panels in the middle that were the customers and that also save cash so it all worked out in the finish.

 (But I nevertheless wish!)

Before and After-Tricky Walls

Hello close friends how are items? Have you ever had an odd shaped space in your property so as to have you going bonkers?  That was the case in a clients house I decorated a couple of years back. This couple is lovely in each and every way and they even have excellent taste but an odd space was giving them problems. (Now you know we cannot have that). Right! Nicely this sweet couple known as me for help to get to the root of what was making their area look so awkward and I have to inform you I was a tiny scared but I wasn’t backing down from any decorating challenge so I ran over and immediately I was able to point out what the problem was. I said “it’s that tricky wall correct there or need to I say window” well my motto has usually been If you cannot get rid of some thing or can not ignore it make it a focal point. A focal point tends to make it one thing to appear at. When contemplating concepts how to decorate you need to often believe about what you are trying to achieve. In my case I was attempting to make the window go away due to the fact of its awkwardness which created it a difficult wall. Watch what I did to resolve this problem.

The Guidelines:

Maintain the dresser  
The blue carpet need to keep

The desk must keep, need to have workspace in the bedroom no exceptions

Preserve the air-conditioned in the window- in hindsight I would not have taken the images with the AC in the window. This is a forewarning:

As you can see there is only one particular window on this wall. It makes it extremely awkward. Would you agree?

The window awkwardness solved due to the fact we spot the window covering at the width of the whole wall now we make it blend with the rest of the wall it is no longer just a small window in the way but a wall with balance and function.

This cabinet need to keep,hmmmm excellent factor it was moved  to yet another wall

As you can see I moved the cabinet to the taller wall on the other side of the room. By the way this is the dresser that I had to keep because of budget so this desk and the cabinet switches locations. Oh I enjoy the African lady in the image subsequent to the door is not she gorgeous?

This is the tall wall next to the bathroom. I at some point moved the cabinet to this wall this is exactly where the dresser use to sit it was to wide so it was moved to give me room for the workspace hmmmm. (There is a cause for my my madness ha!).

Right here is the cabinet moved to the taller wall- Makes much more sense proper? Due to the fact this cabinet has not a lot of width it offers me the space I required to place the workspace on this wall.  Sometimes all needs to be carried out are a little space preparing.

I love the art peace on the wall. Quick that was very straightforward to make. All I completed was take some wood and reduce it to size and wrap and staple fairly fabric about it and Walla you have instant art.

 Friends odd shaped spaces are not tough to decorate you just have to get creative and always bear in mind what you are trying to accomplish with the space and what is the emphasis you want to concentrate on with that space?

Hello lovely close friends how are factors? I’m quite excited to share with you a project I worked on with a lovely couple who bought a new property a few years back. I’m not certain if I ever told you I worked for Furniture Organization a couple of years ago in there style studio and even though working for them I was able to meet some fairly cool men and women like the Floyd loved ones. The Floyds have been searching to make a statement in their new residence so they decided to uncover a designer to support them. One particular day the Floyds walked into the shop where I worked and asked for a designer that can aid them do just that. The Floyds created it fairly clear they knew how to decorate themselves but they wanted a new perspective and point of view and I was a lot more than content to oblige. The Floyds wanted me to makeover there living space, I couldn’t inform you how honored I was to do it. It also helped that I had a blank slate to function with we’ll practically. The Floyds had already obtain there furnishings on their own, so my job was to make the furnishings they already purchased appear great  thank goodness they had genuinely very good taste “woo dodged a bullet there” Right here is how it all went down! 

The guidelines:

No paint on the walls! But nonetheless want colorful room

Use the furniture they currently bought and chose themselves

Utilizes the window covering they already bought and chose themselves

Make some of their art pieces they had in their old house work in the new scheme of items

Not a big budget

As you can see I had a empty slate, most designers dream. Remember I told you earlier the client purchased their personal furnishings, that sooner or later was introduced to the room. Now verify out the soon after photo below. Oh I'll like to apologize for the blurry photos prior to hand.

Sorry for all the blurriness in this photo but this is what I had to perform with at the time.  So what do you feel of the right after photo? The Client did a excellent job deciding on their furnishings and window covering correct! They also picked out the accent tables also,it was my job to arrange and accessorizes the space. How do you believe I did?

Homeowner art on the wall was a have to preserve and remember no paint on the walls. We had to bring in color with the accessories on the table and the hutch.
